Our design process is intended to make your company a part of the action. We maintain our integrity by keeping an open door policy on communication and ideas. While we are the designers, we want your input and believe that communication is essential. Understanding that your time is valuable, we work hard to do it right the first time, so you are free to concentrate on your business.

Site Planning

During this phase, Drift Web Design, Inc. will gather all necessary information in order to design and site that embodies what you want for your company. You will be asked a short set of questions, designed to bring your design ideas into the mix. These questions are essential and will give us a full idea on how your see your future website.

Once the information is received, Drift Web Design, Inc. will take into account your ideas and needs. You will receive three (3) different designs, uploaded to a private web address for easy viewing.

Once a design is chosen, you will receive up to two (2) revisions on this design. This is done to ensure that all design needs are met and that your company is satisfied with the layout. Also during this phase, you will be required to submit the required information for website development. These materials include can include content, photography, graphic elements including logos, current marketing themes, etc. A delay in receiving this information can cause delays in the development process.

Hosting is set up during this phase as well. If you have an existing URL, the URL will be moved to the new hosting package.

Site Development

Once all information has been received and a design style agreed upon, Drift Web Design, Inc. will be able to begin development of your website. Development includes building the structure of your website and any other options you have selected such as an online shopping cart, calendars, photo galleries, etc.

Testing and Site Launch

Once the site is completed, it will be uploaded to the internet and will begin a variety of testing for bugs and errors. This is to ensure that the initial launch is as perfect as possible. Testing includes form submission tests, e-commerce testing, and general site overviews.

Ongoing Testing

Your company will receive ongoing testing and support for a period of thirty (30) days after the completion of the site. This is to ensure that satisfaction has been met and minor changes are handled. This support does not include graphic changes, layout changes or design changes. Minor requests will be discussed, but larger requests may incur an additional fee for services.
